Just bear in mind that you’ll still have to make a payment if you want in on ranked and custom match modes. PUBG: Battlegrounds (Yes, PLAYERUNKNOWN’s Battlegrounds: Battlegrounds) is available to download and play as part of another content update that launched today. The publishers and devs are still creating new content for it, but today marks the occasion of the game also going free-to-play. PLAYERUNKNOWN’s Battlegrounds has been around for a hot minute offering players one of the more original battle royale formulas around.
